This recipe was printed in the Vita-Mix Whole Foods cookbook. It is called a Watermelon Smoothie and I decided to change the name because it reminded me of those ice drinks you can get at a convenience store. Ingredients:
2 cups watermelon, cubed, seeded |
4 -6 large strawberries, washed, hulled |
1/2 cup guava juice |
1 1/2-2 cups ice cubes |
Directions:
1. Place ingredients in order listed in blender. 2. Secure lid, flip the switch and quickly increase speed to high. 3. Run until smooth and ice is crushed. 4. Serve immediately. |
