Great for the 4th of July. You can carve the watermelon into a bowl. Use a paring knife to engrave stars and stripes on the side. Ingredients:
2 cups of diced watermelon, remove seeds |
1 six ounce can of crushed pineapple |
1/2 of a diced red onion |
3 tbls of fresh chopped cilantro |
1/4 of a jalapeno pepper, diced fine, no seeds |
1/4 cup of lemon juice |
salt, pepper and sugar to taste |
Directions:
1. Combine all into a large bowl. You can make this recipe as large as you want. Serve with corn tortilla chips. |
