Surprise your kids during summer holidays with this sweet afternoon snack. Wedges of fresh sliced watermelon are drizzles with yogurt and sprinkled with dried cranberries, toasted almonds and dusted in cinnamon...healthy nachos have never tasted so good!!! Ingredients:
12 -16 watermelon wedges (1/2 inch thick/3-inch sides) |
2 cups greek vanilla yogurt |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 drops almond extract |
1 cup dried cranberries |
1 cup white chocolate chips |
1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Arrange watermelon triangles on a serving platter; set aside. 2. In a small bowl, mix yogurt with extracts and drizzle mixture over watermelon to give the appearance of nacho cheese sauce. Sprinkle dried cranberries, white chocolate chips and almonds over yogurt and dust with cinnamon. |
