I love wasabi, so I had to try it. Serve with Saute Spinach and Trumpeter With White Wine. Ingredients:
850 g potatoes, medium sized desiree |
100 g butter |
4 teaspoons wasabi, powder |
1 cup milk |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel and cut potatoes into quarters. 2. Steam for 15 – 20 mins or until soft. 3. Mash potatoes with a potato masher (do not use a food processor as potatoes become glue like). 4. Mix wasabi powder with enough water to form a thick paste. 5. Heat milk and butter in a pan. 6. Fold milk, butter and wasabi into mash potatoes. |
