Delicious creamy deviled eggs with a bit of a sweet kick from wasabi! Delicious and perfect for a party - really gets people talking AND coming back for more. :) Ingredients:
6 hard boiled eggs |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon wasabi paste |
1 green onion, minced |
1/4 cup shredded nori, plus extra for garnish |
kosher salt, a pinch |
Directions:
1. Cut eggs in half and remove yolks. Mash the yolks until very smooth. 2. Combine the yolks with the mayonnaise, wasabi, green onions and nori and mix well. 3. Taste for seasoning and add salt to your liking. 4. Pipe filling decoratively into the egg whites using a pastry bag or ziplock with the corner snipped off. 5. Garnish with nori. (snipped chives or sesame seeds also look nice) Place on a serving plate and serve right away or cover and refrigerate up to one day. 6. Enjoy! 7. *** wasabi powder may be used in place of wasabi paste... just increase mayo by 1/2 - 1 tbsp. |
