Your cook time may vary depending on the ripeness of the fruit—the riper the fruit, the shorter the cook time. Ingredients:
1/3 cup sugar |
1 1/2 cups frozen cranberries |
1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries |
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. Place sugar and in a medium skillet. Add berries and next 2 ingredients, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute; reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer, stirring often, 7 minutes or until thickened. Stir in butter. |
