There are other recipes that are similar to this one, but my family likes this variation best. I never have any left to freeze for later. Ingredients:
1 lb. lean hamburger, browned and drained |
1 lb. hot bulk sausage, browned and drained |
1 10 oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup |
1 2 lb. loaf velveeta process cheese (chopped) |
1 8 oz. cream cheese |
1 15 oz. jar hot chiles and peppers |
1 envelope dry onion soup mix |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger and sausage until done. Then drain. Put into large dutch oven. 2. Chop cream cheese and Velveeta cheese and add to browned meat. 3. Add jar chiles, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup 4. Simmer all on low (about 30-45 minutes) until all cheeses are melted and warm. 5. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips. |
