Warm Pepper Jack Cheese Dip

This is a good spicy dip I found on ivillage.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs monterey jack pepper cheese
2 tablespoons minced onions
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 cup beer
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan or crockpot.
2. Heat over low heat for 45 min.
3. Serve warm.
4. For added spicyness, mince up some jalapenos and add to it.
