Pour this warm sauce over smoked sausages, baked potatoes or hot dogs....an excellent entry from my collection !!! Ingredients:
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 medium onion, minced |
1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and minced |
1 teaspoon garlic, minced |
1/4 teaspoon celery seed |
1/2 cup dijon mustard |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan. 2. Add the onion and pepper. 3. Cook until just soft (do not brown). 4. Add the garlic, celery seed and Dijon. 5. Heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. 6. Remove from the heat and allow the sauce to sit for 15 minutes. |
