I got this recipe from one of my favorite cookbooks The Kosher Palette , it is a fundraiser cookbook for a school, and this is one of my favorite recipes from it. I hope you enjoy it. Ingredients:

2 tablespoons oil |
1 8 oz. pack button mushrooms, sliced |
1 lb. shiitake mushrooms, sliced |
2 heads bibb lettuce, torn into pieces |
fresh dill vinaigrette |
1 cup veg oil |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1 tblsp. fresh lemon juice |
2-3 teaspoons chopped fresh dill |
1 1/4 tspn salt |
1/2 tspn dry mustard powder |
1/2 tspn pepper |
1/4 tspn sugar |
1/4 tspn dried oregano |
2 cloves garlic, pressed |
pinch thyme |
Directions:
1. Salad 2. heat oil in a large skillet and saute mushrooms until tender 3. combine all salad ingredients 4. Add enough dressing to coat, tossing well 5. Dressing 6. Combine all ingredients in a jar, cover and shake vigorously 7. Enjjoy! |
