Adapted from Hellman's. Original Miracle Whip rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar, soy sauce, honey, ground ginger, salt, orange juice, chicken breast, Romaine lettuce, mandarin oranges cvt Ingredients:
1/2 cup original miracle whip |
2 tsp. (rice wine) vinegar or white wine vinegar |
1 tsp. soy sauce |
1 tsp. honey |
1/4 tsp. ground ginger |
1 pinch salt |
1 tbsp. orange juice |
15 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast, net from 1 1/4 lbs fresh |
6 cups romaine lettuce leaves, torn |
14 oz mandarin oranges (9218), drained, or 2 oranges, peeled and sectioned |
Directions:
1. In small bowl, blend dressing, vinegar, soy sauce, honey, ginger and salt. Reserve 1/4 cup dressing mixture for grilling. 2. Stir orange juice into remaining dressing mixture; reserve for greens. 3. Grill or broil chicken, brushing with reserved 1/4 cup dressing mixture, 12 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked, turning once. 4. In large bowl, toss lettuce with reserved orange juice mixture. 5. To serve, arrange sliced chicken over greens, then top with oranges. |
