A very easy spread/dip to bring to a party. I got this recipe from a friend of mine! Makes about 3 cups.. Ingredients:
1 pkg light cream cheese (250g), softened |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/2 cup white wine |
2 medium green onions, chopped |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, divided |
2 cans crab, chopped & divided |
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped |
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese, mayo, garlic and pepper until smooth. 2. Gradually beat in wine. 3. Stir in green onions, 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese and half the crab. 4. Spead evenly in 8” (20cm) pie plate; sprinkle with remaining crab and parmesan. Bake at 375F about 20 minutes or until bubbling. 5. Cool slightly; sprinkle with parsley. 6. Serve with crackers |
