After cutting into squares, wrap brownies individually in plastic wrap, and freeze. When a chocolate craving hits, pull a brownie from the freezer, and prepare your sundae. Ingredients:
cooking spray |
2/3 cup all-purpose flour |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cocoa |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 cup applesauce |
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 large egg |
1 large egg white |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 cups vanilla fat-free ice cream |
3/4 cup fat-free chocolate syrup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil. Coat foil with cooking spray; set aside. 3. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. 4. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, and soda in a medium bowl. Combine applesauce and next 4 ingredients, and stir with a whisk; gradually add to dry ingredients, stirring just until blended. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350° for 18 minutes. (Wooden pick will not come out clean.) 5. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into 16 squares; cut each square in half diagonally, creating triangles. Arrange 2 triangles on each serving plate. Spoon 1/4 cup ice cream on top of each serving. Drizzle each serving with 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup. Serve immediately. |
