5-Ingredient Fix Contest Entry. Soup can warm the soul on a good day. On a great day, soup can ignite the world into a frenzy of awesomeness. This is a soup that can pull off such a maneuver. Buckle your seatbelts ladies and gentleman, lets start making some soup! 5 ingredient soup no less! Haha! No more either! Haha! I laugh at danger Haha! I apologize, my daugher watches Pokeman so I may overstate some things. Haha! Ingredients:
1 lb bob evans italian sausage |
16 ounces chopped celery |
20 ounces simply potatoes diced potatoes with onion |
2 cups chopped cabbage |
2 cups half-and-half |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage in big soup pot. 2. After 5 minutes, add the chopped celery. 3. After another minute, add the 2 cups of chopped cabbage. 4. Let this cook for a good 10 minutes. You don't want the sausage to burn, but you want the cabbage to wilt. 5. Add 5 cups of COLD water to the mix. 6. Bring to a boil and let simmer. 7. Add 2 cups of half and half. 8. Simmer for another 20-30 mintues. 9. Season with salt and pepper,. |
