A favorite of mine from 30 years ago...easy to make and yummy to eat! Serving size is approximate, depending on the size you cut the bars. Ingredients:
1 egg |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup flour |
1/8 teaspoon baking soda |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Beat egg with salt. 2. Add sugar, flour and soda. 3. Stir in nuts and vanilla. 4. Bake in a greased (Pam) 8 x 8 square pan at 350 for 30 minutes. 5. To make in a 9 x 13 pan, double ingredients. |
