You can find these tasty little snack sold in market stalls. Found in Vegetarian Quick and Easy Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sesame seeds |
1 cup ground walnuts |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2-1 teaspoon tahini |
1 lemon, juice of |
2 tablespoons water |
1 tablespoon fresh parsley |
salt and pepper, to taste |
2 -4 pita bread |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients except pita bread into a blender and mix well, adding more lemon juice and/or water until desired consistency has been achieved. 2. Serve with hot pita bread. |
