This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale last weekend. I have not made these yet, but fully intend to when time allows. These sound really good to me. Enjoy
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 cup sifted flour
topping
2 eggs
2 tablespoons sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup walnuts chopped
1/2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup coconut
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Cream butter then blend in powdered sugar and add sifted flour.
2. Pat in square pan and bake 15 minutes at 325.
3. To make topping beat eggs lightly.
4. Sift remaining flour, baking powder and salt into the eggs and mix.
5. Add remaining ingredients then mix well and pour over cookie base.
6. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
