Walnut Rice With Poppy Seed Sauce |

Just a kitchen experiment. Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked rice |
1 cup water |
1/3 cup light coconut milk |
1/3 cup orange juice |
1/3 cup milk |
1 cup broccoli (steamed) |
2 1/2 ounces walnuts |
5 teaspoons cornstarch |
2/3 cup water |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon orange juice |
2 teaspoons olive oil |
2 teaspoons white vinegar |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon poppy seed |
Directions:
1. Cook rice in water, coconut milk, orange juice, and milk. Mix in broccoli and walnuts when done. 2. Combine other 8 ingredients together in a pot over medium heat and stir constantly until thick. 3. Pour sauce over rice and serve. |
