Walnut Raisin Loaf (Bread Machine) |

May substitute sour cream for the yogurt. Ingredients:
2/3 cup water |
1/2 cup plain yogurt |
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder |
1 1/4 teaspoons salt |
2 tablespoons liquid honey |
2 tablespoons light molasses |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 1/4 cups bread flour |
1/3 cup rye flour |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 3/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast or 1 3/4 teaspoons instant yeast |
1/3 cup raisins |
1/3 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Measure all ingredients except raisins and walnuts into baking pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. 2. Insert pan into the oven. 3. Select Sweet Cycle. 4. Add raisins and walnuts at the add ingredient signal. 5. When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a wire rack. 6. Let cool to room temperature before slicing. |
