This reminds me of my grandmother's glaze she put on her pound cakes. I am posting it here for safe keeping. You could also use this glaze on doughnuts and sticky buns. Ingredients:
1 cup confectioners' sugar |
2 tablespoons butter, softened |
6 tablespoons cream |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, cream the confectioners sugar and butter. 2. Add cream, vanilla and walnuts. 3. Mix to blend well. |
