Another tasty dessert bar that is so very tasty for the Holiday season!! You can add a few chopped red and green cherries after baking to make it really festive - Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
6 eggs |
3 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs, very finely crushed (1 package) |
1 cup flaked coconut |
1 cup walnuts, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. At low speed, bet in eggs, one at a time, alternately with crumbs. With rubber spatula, fold in coconut and nuts. 2. Turn into a well greased 9x9x2-inch cake pan. 3. Bake in a preheated 325F oven for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. |
