From Jo Ann Shirley's 1978 Cakes and Cookies cookbook. Ingredients:
1 cup margarine |
2 1/2 cups tightly packed brown sugar |
2 eggs, beaten |
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Cream together margarine and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. 2. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Mix well. Drop from a tsp onto a greased cookie sheet. 3. Bake 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. |
