I copied this from some magazine about 20 years ago. You can make regular size cookies from this, but I used to make the small chips that the recipe suggested. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, room temperature |
1 egg, large |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped coarsely |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 390 degrees (350 degrees fan assisted). 2. Combine softened butter, sugars and egg. 3. Stir in flour, salt, vanilla extract, baking soda, chocolate chips and walnuts. 4. Place 1/2 inch balls onto greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. 5. Bake for about 15 minutes. 6. Let cool completely on a wire rack and enjoy! |
