WALNUT BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Almond Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1 egg |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup salad oil |
3/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3/4 cup broken nuts |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients. 2. Beat egg then add sugar and oil then vanilla. 3. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts then put into greased square baking pan. 4. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes then cut into squares when cooled. |
