WALNUT BLUE CHEESE DIP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Crenshaw Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
12 ounces blue cheese |
4 ounces cream cheese |
1/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons dry white wine |
2 teaspoons black pepper |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Combine blue cheese and cream cheese in medium bowl and blend with a fork. 2. Blend in milk, wine and pepper then spoon into serving dish and top with walnuts. 3. Serve with chips, vegetable dippers or crackers. |
