Super easy to make, the whole house smells so good while their cooking, and they look very pretty on a serving tray... Ingredients:
6 apples |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/4 cup chopped walnuts |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 1/2 cups apple juice |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Wash and core the apples, remove the peel from the top of the apple, about two inches across, make sure you have a good space in the middle of the apple carve out a little extra, enough to hold about 2-3 tbs. of raisin mixture. 3. Combine raisins, nuts, and cinnamon in small bowl. Fill each apple. 4. Place apples in an oven safe dish, pour apple juice around apples, cover loosely with foil. 5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, uncover and baste with apple juice, bake for an additional 10 minutes or until tender. |
