This is not your mother's Waldorf salad! From Judy Anderson. Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 medium apples, diced |
2 medium carrots, grated |
1/2 cup raisins or 1/2 cup craisins |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix the mayonnaise, sugar and cinnamon in a medium bolw until smooth. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well and chill. 3. Alternatively: add other chopped dried fruits or celery. |
