A friend gave me this recipe to help out when family was coming to stay over at Christmas. Not only are there fresh cinnamon buns for breakfast, the house smells wonderful too! Ingredients:
20 frozen dough rolls |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 small vanilla instant pudding powder |
3 tablespoons cinnamon |
3/4 cup raisins |
1/2 cup melted butter |
Directions:
1. The night before you want to have these, grease a circular pan such as a bundt pan or angelfood pan. 2. Place frozen roll dough in the pan. 3. Mix brown sugar, pudding powder, cinnamon and raisins and sprinkle over the dough. 4. Pour melted butter over all of it. 5. Cover and leave out at room temperature overnight. 6. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 F. 7. Bake for 25 minutes, then let stand for 5 minutes before turning the buns out onto a plate to serve. |
