From Mom's Spiral Recipe Notebook Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 cups milk |
4 tablespoons lard (melted) |
2 tablespoons sugar (optional) |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients. 2. Beat eggs, milk, & melted lard. 3. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients. 4. If sweet waffles are desired, add the sugar. 5. Pour onto a hot waffle iron. |
