This makes one waffle or two pancakes but can easily be increased. Beating the egg whites makes the whole wheat waffle light & fluffy. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons powdered milk |
2 tablespoons water |
1 egg, separated |
1/4 cup whole wheat flour |
1/8 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. Beat egg white until stiff. 2. Set aside. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together water and powdered milk. 4. Add egg yolk. 5. Add flour and baking soda. 6. Fold in egg whites. 7. Bake according to waffle iron directions. |
