My girls would eat this for every meal if they could. I make them in advance and keep them in the freezer. It is a slight modification of recipe 23225 - thanks Wildheart! Ingredients:
4 cups oats |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 1/2 cups water |
2 tablespoons baking powder |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
2 tablespoons molasses |
1/4 cup applesauce |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients. 2. Add wet ingredients. 3. Mix well. 4. Bake in a waffle iron. |
