This is an old chocolate cake recipe. Easy to make, even a child can make it. Mix dry ingredients, make three holes, fill one with oil, fill one with vinegar, fill one with vanilla. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons cocoa |
1 cup sugar |
1-1/2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
6 tablespoons salad oil |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup cold water |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients into an ungreased pan which cake is to be baked in (preferred square pan)
2. Make three holes
3. Oil in one hole
4. Vinegar in one hole
5. Vanilla in last hole
6. Pour 1 cup cold water over all
7. Stir with fork until ingredients are well blended
8. Bake at 25 minutes at 350 degrees
9. Bake in a square pan or equivalent size pan
10. Ice with your favorite chocolate icing
