W W Smothered Steak With Mushrooms And Onions

Ingredients:
1 lb ground sirloin
1/2 c plain breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (8 oz) pkg fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 lrg onion cut in half vertically and then sliced
1 envelope of brown gravy mix (knorr classic brown is best)
1 cup of water ( 1 1/2 cups if using knorr)
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl and mix well
2. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into 1/2 thick patty
3. Heat a large, non-stick skillet until hot. Add patties; cook until done, turning once
4. Remove from from skillet; set aside
5. Increase heat to medium high
6. Add muchrooms and oniions to skillet; saute 10 minutes or until very tender
7. Combine gravy and water, whisk together well. Add gravy mixture to skillet and cook until thickened, about 3 minutes, stirring constantly
8. Return patties to skillet; cook 2 mintues or until heated through
9. Serving is 1 patty and 2/3 C gravy
