This is a spicy, Cajun pasta. You can make it more spicy if you dare. Serve with garlic bread and a salad. Ingredients:
16 ounces fettuccine pasta |
1 lb smoked sausage |
1 teaspoon blackening seasoning (see below) |
1 (16 ounce) jar alfredo sauce |
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon cayenne |
3/4 teaspoon white pepper |
3/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
Directions:
1. Cook fettuccine noodles. 2. Cut smoked sausage into slices. 3. Sprinkle with blackening seasoning. 4. Cook in skillet until brown. 5. Into sausage stir; Alfredo, Tabasco. 6. HEAT. 7. Pour over pasta. 8. Toss until coated. 9. -BLACKENING SEASONING-. 10. Mix all spices together and sprinkle on meat. |
