The best spaghetti sauce you 'bout ever put in your mouth! -Grandmama Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1/4 lb bacon, chopped (about 5 strips) |
1/3 cup vodka |
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Melt butter over moderate heat. 2. Add bacon and cook until lightly browned. 3. Remove pan from heat and add vodka. 4. Return to stove and cook until reduced by half. 5. Add tomato sauce and cream. 6. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. |
