you deserve a treat to-day Ingredients:
9 tbs. butter |
4 large eggs |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/2 cup flour |
1 tbs. vanilla extract |
1# pitted black sweet cherries-can substitute canned |
1 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. beat butter until frothy.add eggs and 2/3 cup sugar, then flour. beat until fluffy
2. add vanilla and beat well
3. pour into a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350*F in a pre heated oven
4. alow to cool
5. when cool puree cherries in blender with 1 cup of sugar.spreag cherry puree over cake and serve.
