This is another oldie of mine. I use to take these to all the family reunions. Ingredients:
2 tbsp. of butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tbsp. flour |
1 egg yolk |
2 tbsp. vinegar |
2 tbsp. lemon juice |
1 egg white, beatened |
1 cup water |
dash salt |
1 pie crust |
Directions:
1. Cream the butter and sugar. 2. Add dry ingredients and blend in egg yolk. 3. Add vinegar, lemon juice and water. 4. Cook in top of double boiler until thick. 5. Stir. 6. Fold in beaten egg white. 7. Bake the pie crust for 5 minutes. 8. Pour filling in crust. 9. Bake until brown. |
