Vinegar Noodle Salad

This is perfect for warm weather picnics.
Ingredients:
1 cup spiral macaroni
1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
1/4 cup red onion, minced
6 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Rinse in cold water and drain again.
2. In bowl, combine pasta, cucumber and onion.
3. Whisk together remaining ingredients.
4. Pour over pasta.
5. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
6. The longer it sits, the better it is!
