12 large vine-ripened tomatoes (about 6 pounds), sliced |
salt to taste |
freshly ground black pepper to taste |
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar |
Directions:
1. On a large platter overlap tomatoes slightly and sprinkle with pepper and salt to taste. 2. Drizzle tomatoes with vinegar and serve at room temperature. |
