From The Food of Vietnam/1997 Ingredients:
4 quarts water |
1 cup sliced carrot |
1 cup sliced cabbage |
1/2 cup sliced celery |
1/4 cup sliced daikon radish |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 tablespoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Boil. Reduce liquid to half. 3. Strain and store. 4. Use in place of Chicken Broth in Vietnamese recipes. |
