VIETNAMESE SHRIMP MEATBALLS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the McLean Estate in Irving, Texas in 1982.
Ingredients:
1 pound finely chopped shrimp
1/2 small white onion chopped
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 then combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Wet hands and roll meat mixture into 1 balls then place on square baking dish.
3. Bake uncovered 30 minutes then garnish with coriander and serve warm with extra soy sauce.
