Vietnamese Green Papaya Shrimp Salad |

1/2 cup vietnamese hot sauce (nuoc cham) |
1 1/2 lbs papayas (peeled, seeded, and finely shredded) |
10 medium shrimp |
2 chili peppers (chopped) |
1 medium carrot (finely shredded) |
1/2 cup chopped cilantro (or mint) |
Directions:
1. Prepare the Nuoc Cham. 2. Boil the shrimp in hot water for 3-4 minutes. Shell, devein, and slice in half. Set aside. 3. In a salad bowl, combine the shredded papaya, shredded carrot, shrimps, cilantro (or mint), chopped chili pepper, Nuoc Cham, and mix well. 4. Serve. |
