This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't cooked any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them on here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
1/2 cup rice, uncooked |
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 (10 ounce) can onion soup, condensed |
1/2 soup can water |
Directions:
1. Brown lightly uncooked rice and sliced mushrooms, which have been drained, in melted butter. Stir in onion soup and water. Cover; cook over low heat about 25 minutes or until rice is tender. |
