If you love Vidalia Onions, you will love this recipe. It is quick and easy. It is wonderful for potlucks, because it travels well. It has that really great, sweet onion taste. Ingredients:
8 ounces sour cream |
1 can creamed corn |
1 box jiffy cornbread mix |
1 large vidalia onion |
1/4 cup margarine |
Directions:
1. Bake Jiffy mix as directed on box. 2. Let cool and crumble in bottom of buttered casserole dish. 3. Layer sliced onion on top of mix. 4. Combine sour cream, creamed corn and melted butter and pour on top. 5. Bake at 350 until brown. |
