Beef Stew at 135 calories per cup! Ingredients:
12 ounces beef stew meat |
1 3/4 cups whole kernel corn |
2 cups beans, snap, green |
3 1/2 cups diced tomatoes |
24 ounces white potatoes |
1 small onion |
1 3/4 cups sliced carrots |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Boil Beef and Onion in 8 cups of water until beef is tender. 2. Add remaining ingredients, just pour entire can or bag of vegetables into pot. If frozen vegetables are used, more water will need to be added. 3. After stew has simmered for 1 hour, pour off all liquid and add 8 cups fresh water. 4. Simmer until mixture thickens. |
