Lowfat cornbread mix. Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal |
1/2 cup milk, lowfat, fluid, 1% milkfat |
1 egg white |
1 tablespoon flour |
1 tablespoon canola oil |
Directions:
1. Mix Cornmeal,milk,egg white and flour in bowl. 2. Preheat oven to 425 Degrees and place canola oil into skillet. Place the skillet into the oven until hot. 3. Pour the meal mixture into the skillet, allowing the meal to displace the oil to the sides. The mixture should sizzle lightly when pouring. 4. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes. 5. Cut into 6 wedges and serve. |
