Very Vanilla Snickerdoodles |

Yummy soft, chewy snickerdoodles from 'Fix, Freeze and Feast' cookbook. Ingredients:
2 cups butter, softened |
3 cups sugar |
3 eggs |
1/4 cup milk |
2 teaspoons double -strength vanilla extract |
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 cups whole wheat flour |
2 tablespoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla. Slowly mix in flours, salt and baking powder. In separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Make 1-inch balls with dough and roll balls in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees; cool on baking sheet 2 minutes prior to removing. If freezing, flash freeze on parchment covered baking sheet for 30 minutes. Put frozen dough balls in freezer bags and freeze. |
