Very Simple Jalapeno Salsa |

This is a GREAT salsa recipe given to me by a neighbor. It is so fresh and you can make it as hot as you like. It'll be eaten up quickly! Ingredients:
1 small bunch of cilantro |
2 cans crushed tomatoes (or you can use about 30 ounces of your own fresh, canned tomatoes) |
4 tbs minced garlic from a jar |
3-4 fresh jalapenos, blackened |
2 tsps kosher salt |
Directions:
1. Blacken jalapenos, until soft (this can be done under your broiler, or over a gas-top range) 2. cut off jalapeno stems 3. Cut off of cilantro stems 4. combine tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, jalapenos and salt to blender or food processor 5. Puree 6. Serve with tortilla chips! 7. Also great over grilled chicken topped with mozarella cheese or in a chicken/avocado wrap! |
