VERY RICH VERY GOOD BANANA PUDDING This recipe came from my Aunt Lois’s collection that I inherited when I inherited the family collection in 1980. Tried and true, a family favorite especially at holiday time. Read more . I have fond memories of eating this when I was a child living in Dayton, Ohio in the 1960’s Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
1-1/2 cups cold milk |
4 ounce package instant vanilla pudding |
2 cups frozen whipped topping thawed |
1 box vanilla wafers |
3 bananas sliced |
Directions:
1. Mix sweetened condensed milk with milk then add pudding mix and beat well. 2. Chill in refrigerator for 5 minutes then fold in whipped topping. 3. Spoon 1 cup pudding in bottom of serving dish. 4. Top with 1/3 of each of the bananas, wafers and pudding. 5. Repeat layering twice ending with pudding then top with vanilla wafers. 6. Chill thoroughly and keep refrigerated. |
