Very Low Fat, Low Sugar Bran Muffins |

I came up with this recipe while trying ideas to get more fiber in my diet, with less sugar and fat. These are easy, good for you, and I think pretty tasty as well. Ingredients:
1 cup all-bran cereal |
1 1/2 cups skim milk |
12 ounces bisquick heart smart mix |
2/3 cup splenda granular |
4 ounces unsweetened applesauce |
2 tablespoons molasses |
2 eggs |
8 ounces raisins |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Pour cereal into a small bowl, cover with 1 cup skim milk, and let sit for ten minutes. 3. Add all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, stirring with a spatula to combine. 4. Spoon into a greased 12 muffin baking dish, filling to top of cups. 5. Bake for 25 minutes or until a tooth pick stuck in middle comes out clean. 6. Take out of pan to cook, the seal in a container or eat at once. |
